It cannot be contained. Amazingly, I sent an email to an NFL player who I consider to be a friend of mine - just last night. I was telling him how much God loves him! I told him that God is the God of 2nd chances - he gave me a 2nd chance after I blew it - he restored me to my feet; he dusted me off; he hugged me spirtually and told me that he'll never leave me and that he is always with me and knows every hurt/failure; he didn't bash me over the head - and I'm so grateful for that! I'm prayerful that this email will be used by God to reach him for Christ. To God be the glory forever. Tom God’s love for us is a great reason to be thankful!

The longer I live the more I find the simplicity that is in Christ is what I need to focus most on, and be most grateful for. Holidays are never the same for me since the loss of my son and sister, but as soon as I look at what I have because of who I am in Christ and what it means, even a little of it, I lose site of the sadness and rejoice! It makes me feel like the most blessed person on earth. Then I begin to count my blessings. You are one of my greatest blessings of this past year.
