The greatest endeavor humanity has ever accomplished with his own hands: Putting mankind on the Moon.

I firmly believe God had a hand in it. And I believe for the better of mankind it was meant to happen. Only, the hopes and prayers many had…did not come to be. Many believed the moment would bring peace, and unite mankind. But that is not true. It does not dilute the event, it only makes it more important. God interceded in our desire to accomplish what only 9 years earlier had been seen impossible.

Again, Christ’s life was by far more important, but in a way that is different the the mission of Apollo XI. Those 3 men, changed the way we see ourselves in this infinite cosmos God created for us. He created it so we could marvel at his power and the beauty, why not go further then before to receive his gifts? We are the only jewel with life…for a reason.

the malls have been trekked,

the fruits have been caked.

The concerts have been sung,
the stockings have been hung,
the greetings, thoroughly seasoned,
the lists, thoughtfully reasoned.

The children wait with glee
to sit on Santa’s knee,
anticipating the night
he makes his fabled flight.

Holiday time brings so much joy,
all because of a baby boy.
Wise men sought the son;
God bless us, every one.

Yes, Virginia, you believed
in the promise of Christmas Eve;
even the Grinch must finally concede,
it’s a wonderful life indeed!
