Pastor Rex,

There have been many times lately during this storm that is raging in my family that I have either seen something or read something that helps me to bounce back into my rhythm with God. This blog is one of those times.

I am dealing with a terminal sickness with my mother who has been given 3 to 6 months to live by her own choice (she decided not to undergo treatment). This has completely stunned our family.

In all honesty, It has been difficult at times to remain focused on God. So much so that I had to place little signs all around my house stating "Look through the tragedy, God is in the storm" just to remind myself that He is there and He is in control.

I am proud to say that each day I try to "plug along" keeping God in the center of my thoughts. Looking for that little thing that I am supposed to learn from all this. There are days where I am completely overwhelmed with grief, but in this time of need, full of pain and sorrow....God is right in the middle shining His light on my family and I.

Thank you for taking the time to make a difference with your blog to help people like me who need that reminder to keep breathing and plugging alone. Wonder what tomorrow will bring. :-)
