Sometimes, my colleagues or neighbors are discussing a topic for which I feel, as a follower of Jesus, I should offer a response. I pray as I wait for words. The gift of prayerful words is for all present. Sometimes, I am left silent and I trust that was God’s intent…
To me, one of the most intense “block parties” is in the home, in the living room — Television.
It’s a daily invitation that can wholesomely enlighten and entertain…
It can also tempt and distort …
I guess our witness is given to those that live with us and at the “water cooler.” Our presence is measured by Nielsen.

The questions I am asking myself after reading this are:
How does my life reflect Jesus to others? How visible is He in Me?
